Captain Hume
Background
Hume is captain of RNS The Scarborough.
During the events of Black Sails: Season 1 Episode 1 I. played by David Dukas
Hume suddenly arrives at the home of Richard Guthrie with two seamen and asks Richard what sort of business he is conducting with Captain Flint. Richard lies and says Flint is a sugar merchant and Hume orders Flint, Billy Bones and Richard taken into custody and Billy grabs one of the seamen's rifles and the seaman fires, hitting Richard in the shoulder. Flint then grabs Hume and slams his face into the table.
During the events of Black Sails: Season 2 Episode 2 X. played by David Dukas
Months later, Billy lies in the sand and tied by his hands and feet to posts. Hume walks over to him and pours water on the leather vest Billy is wearing. He tells Billy that he learned the technique from a Spanish bishop and after six days of pouring water on the leather vest, the vest will shrink and collapse Billy's ribs.
