Clancy is a security personnel at Guard Post Number 1 for Commando Cody's rocket ship.

Commando Cody says hello to Clancy and asks him to drive Joan Gilbert back to Graphite.

Commando Cody radios Clancy when a missile heads towards Earth. Clancy tells him the missile will land in the Crestline Hills. Later, Commando Cody contacts Clancy who clears him entering the area where his rocket ship is stored. He arrives at the rocket ship and has Clancy drive his car back to town as he, Ted Richards, Dr. Varney and Lenato enter the rocket ship. After kidnapping them. Lenato and Dr. Varney force Ted to radio Clancy to let them into the area where the rocket ship-is stored. Lenato pulls a gun on Clancy and makes him get into the car. Joan turns on Ted's badge radio and Ted calls Commando Cody and tells him about Lenato and Dr. Varney stealing the rocket. One of the men who brought the uranium leaves in the car while Clancy, Joan and Ted are still inside of it.
