After Kathy is kidnapped, Paul makes a phone call and tells [[Gordon Hunter]] that no one has seen Kathy. [[John Peter McAllister]] drops Kathy off at Gordon's house and she introduces him to Paul and Gordon. At Kathy and Paul's wedding, a car pulls up and two men get out and grab [[Patrick T. Keller]] and Kathy and then drive away with them. An officer tells [[Lt. Ryan]] that the kidnappers disappeared. Ryan questions [[Laura Crane]] and he decides to take her downtown to get a sworn statement from her. [[Straker]] calls Gordon and tells him that he is calling from a payphone so it won't matter if Ryan traces it. He then demands 1 million dollars in ransom. After Kathy is rescued, Paul yells at Straker and his men for letting Kathy get away. Straker calls Gordon and demands the same ransom for Laura. On his boat, Paul pulls a gun on [[Max Keller]] and Laura when they are trying to escape and calls Max and Patrick losers. John then knocks Paul unconscious. | |||
