Jack Livingstone gets into his car and drives to his job at Stellachip Corporation in Silicon Valley.  He arrives late and when the Stellachip Secretary shakes her head, he tells her to keep it a secret.  Bill Templeton walks in after Jack and Jack asks him if Bob Hammer caught him walking in late.  Bill then tells Jack that Bob didn't give him a hard time, because he makes his quotas.  During a work meeting, Bob tells the Computer Chip Salespeople that he is going to increase the sales quotas they need to make and applauds Bill for his sales.  After the meeting, Bob threatens to fire Jack for coming in late and not meeting his quotas.  Jack goes to Mark Steven's house while Mark is having sex with Stephanie and Stephanie answers the door and lets Jack in.  Mark tells Jack he was in the middle of sex and Jack asks what happened to Mark's girlfriend Barbara.  Mark tells him, Barbara is on vacation and Jack tells him about his troubles at work.  Mark suggests Jack get a girlfriend and tells him to go on the website Cupidmatchmaker.net.  Jack goes home and logs on to Cupidmatchmaker and sends a message to Julie Romanov|Lady Renegade.  The next day he continues to do poorly in sales, but gets a message from Lady Renegade.  He calls Tony (Julie and Jack)|Tony, but again fails to close the sale.  He continues send messages to Lady Renegade and they tell each other their backgrounds.  Jack meets up with Mark at a bar and Mark asks him if he has had sex with Julie yet.  Jack and Julie meet up in front of a cafe and they exchange more background information.  Jack calls Tony again and tells him a competitor bought a large order of computer chips and Tony asks Jack to call him back after he thinks about it.  Julie and Jack go on a date to the museum and Julie stares at a painting of Ada Lovelace and tells Jack about Ada.  They go to Golden Gate Bridge and hug each other and take a boat ride.  They go on more dates around San Francisco and Julie asks Jack if he would like to live for a thousand years.  After more dates, Jack asks Julie if they can move the relationship further, but Julie asks for more time.  During dinner at a Chinese restaurant, Jack gives Julie a bracelet and Julie gets defensive when Jack asks about her past.  Jack tells Julie he loves her and she asks him if he means forever.  Jack makes a sale with Tony for a thousand computer chips and a trip to Las Vegas.  During another work meeting, Bob complains about the Computer Chip Salespeople's sales.  Bill tells him sales are down due to the dotcom bust, but Bob points out that Jack just made a huge sale.  ? tells the other workers that she heard Jack's success is due to him having a new girlfriend.  During another date, Julie tells Jack she never had time to have fun and regrets working over experiencing life.  Jack points out all of their dates have been in virtual reality and tells Julie he wants to meet her in person.  Julie tells him she can't and Jack tells Julie he doesn't think she cares about him as much as he cares about her.  Julie then tells Jack she has to go and Jack leaves the virtual reality date.  Jack goes to Mark's house while he is having sex with Helen (Julie and Jack)|Helen and Helen lets Jack inside.  Mark tells Jack how he and Helen met.  Mark then tells Jack that after the first 2 or 3 months relationships are bad investments due to the drop in sex.  Jack tells Mark about Julie and Mark tells Jack that he might be getting catfished.  Jack tells Mrs. Nancy Livingstone about Julie and she give him some advice.  Jack sees who he thinks is Julie in the park, but is someone else.  He remembers that Julie went to Grant University and calls the university to try and get her information, but they won't give it out.  Jack looks up Julie on the internet and finds out she was given an award by Professor Tran.  He meets with Professor Tran who tells him Julie was into neural computers and that Julie worked at JB software after she graduated.  Jack looks up JB Software online and then calls the MX Corporation who acquired them.  Eric (Julie and Jack)|Eric tells Jack, Julie founded JB Software with Raju Patel.  Jack meets with Raju who tells Jack about the history of JB Software and how Julie told the JB Software Employees and they will all be rich.  Raju then suggests go to Spaceship Ventures, a company that had invested in one of Julie's ideas.  Jack talks with Tom Davis who tells him they tried to invest in Julie's Mindchip Corporation, but Julie didn't agree with what they offered.  Julie contacts Jack over the internet and she asks him to meet her virtually.  They meet and Julie tells Jack she doesn't think they should see each other anymore, but Jack tells her, he will keep looking for her.  Jack goes to Susan's house and while they are talking Susan's Daughter runs and shows Susan a drawing she made.  Susan tells Jack about Julie and how at a college party with other College Students, Julie met Richard Smith.  Jack goes to speak with Richard who tells him Julie wanted to do more with her life and they broke up.  Richard then tells Jack where Julie's parents live.  Jack speaks with Julie McNeal and Tom McNeal who tell him they adopted Julie and that Julie died from a brain tumor two years ago.  Jack goes to Julie's grave and afterwards goes into the virtual reality world and confronts Julie for not telling him the truth.  She tells him she uploaded her mind into a neural computer she developed.  Jack tells Julie he can't love her anymore and she thinks it is because they will never be able to have sex.  Jack goes to a church while Father Love is singing with the Father Love Church Choir while the Father Love Church Band plays and the Father Love Congregation claps.  Father Love tells Jack about spiritual love.  During another work meeting, Bob congratulates Bill on his sales and Jack wins the Stellachip Sales Person of the Quarter award.  Jack goes back into the virtual world and he tells Julie he wants to be with her.  Julie tells Jack she has to leave due to the impending failure of the neural computer.  They kiss one last time and then Julie leaves.
Melissa (SNZN)|Melissa taps on Sarah Talbot's car window and sees she is crying and asks her if she is okay.  Suddenly Melissa is grabbed by a Zombie (SNZN)|Zombie and bitten.  Frank Talbot and Nash Jackson park their patrol vehicle and Jackson tells Talbot, he put in to transfer to another precinct.  Henry Glendon approaches them in his wheelchair and tells then he was bitten.  Sarah uses a baseball  bat from her car to kill the zombie attacking Sarah.  Henry tells them his neighbor Virginia bit him, Frank and Talbot and Jackson go to the neighbor's house.  They are charged by Virginia, who bites Jackson in the foot.  Talbot then shoots Virginia.  Raccoon goes to talk with a Used Car Lot Zombie|customer and is bitten.  Used Car Lot Employee runs outside to help Raccoon and is chased by another Zombie while Raccoon changes into one.  Talbot drives Jackson to Jackson's house and sees Sarah and tells her to get inside while also shooting at Zombies.  Talbot goes to heat up a knife and finds Sarah holding and kissing Jackson's head.  He then uses the knife and cauterizes the wound before going outside to call dispatch.  No one responds and he sees a Zombie chewing on an arm and blows its head off.  A group of Zombies hear the shotgun blasts and run towards Talbot and he runs back into the house.  While Jackson is recovering in bed, Talbot finds two Christmas presents, one for him and one for Sarah.  He opens the presents in front of Sarah and hers is a heart shaped locket, while his is a watch.  Sarah tells Talbot, she is leaving him, and Talbot gets angry when she admits she slept with Jackson.  A radio announcer mentions what is happening is worse than the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.  Talbot notices the now zombified Raccoon rip off the arm of another Zombie.  Husband with a Gun goes outside to confront the Zombies, while His Screaming Wife looks on in terror.  A group of Rocker Party Peeps hear the gunshots, while Family in the Car are attacked by a horde of Zombies.  The Rocker Party Peeps are attacked and eaten by Zombies as are Husband with a Gun and His Screaming Wife.  The power goes out and Talbot tells Sarah people are getting slaughtered outside and he is having a hard time not trying to help.  Sarah convinces Talbot to not go outside and they have sex.  The next day more Zombies roam the streets including Santa Zombie and Photographer Zombie.  Talbot shoots Santa Zombie in the head and then assesses Jackson's food supply.  He goes to the front door and Raccoon Zombie is waiting for him and screams.  Talbot heads back and in Jackson's room, Sarah tells him she didn't sleep with Jackson.  He recalls when he knew he loved her during their third date when they went to a Mozart concert under the stars.  Talbot taps the front door and when no Zombies come to it, he sneaks outside and passes Car Bumping Zombie and stabs him in the head.  Jackson wakes up and asks Sarah if he is dying and she tells him how they took care of him.  Talbot runs inside and tells them he has an idea.  He explains that the slow Zombies move at night and use scent to find prey.  Talbot sprays himself with scent masking spray and goes back outside to test his theory.  He then uses a bat to beat a group of Zombies to a pulp. He continues to walk around and comes across a Zombified Husband with a Gun and shoots and kills it.  He goes inside of a house when he sees the Christmas lights come on.  Jackson and Sarah get drunk while Talbot finds Jeffrey Hannigan hiding in the attic of the house with the Christmas lights.  Sarah and Jackson play a game, What I would kill for right now and during the game, Jackson tells Sarah, he would kill for a kiss from her.  Jeffrey tells Talbot about his son Hudson who hit his head, but won't show Talbot, Hudson.  Jackson and Sarah kiss, but are interrupted by fast Zombies screaming.  Talbot leaves the basement and sees a Zombie which runs away and he shoots it.  Jackson goes outside and kills a Zombie which whines as he hacks at it.  Zombified Racoon communicates with Box-Mart and another Zombie and they run away.  Jackson goes into Jeffrey's house while Talbot is outside and Talbot, thinking he is a Zombie, shoots him in the head.  Talbot goes home and gives Sarah a knife to cauterize a wound on his stomach.  The next morning, Talbot tells Sarah he accidentally killed Jackson.  Jackson wakes up with a bandage on his head in the attic with Jeffrey and notices a foul smell.  A Hummer drives drives down the street and Sarah flags it down.  Paul Irwin, Elsa Lansing, and Lookout get out of the vehicle.  Paul and Elsa go into Jackson's house and Elsa looks at Talbot's wound.  Talbot asks Paul if he knows what caused the Zombie apocalypse, but Paul has no clue.  Elsa tells them that the Zombie were dissected and the fast ones have something inside of them which wraps around the brain stem.  Paul tells them that they have to go to Burbank Airport and Elsa tells them there are still a few thousand people left locally.  Talbot tells them about Jeffrey and they leave and tell Talbot and Sarah they will pick them up after they get Jeffrey.  Paul gives directions to Driver/Misc. Zombies|the driver and they stop at Jeffrey's house.  Jackson hears Paul and his group struggling against the Zombies and goes to help them.  He sees Paul being eaten by Zombies and shoots at the Zombies.  Talbot sees Elsa and saves her and Jackson finds Lookout and Driver dead.  Jeffrey goes to help Jackson and is charged by Box-Mart.  Talbot handcuffs Elsa to the bars on the window and tells her if she is still human when he returns he will let her go.  Jackson finds Jeffrey still alive, but bitten in the face by the now dead Box-Mart.  Jeffrey reveals he shot Hudson when he changed into a Zombie.  He then commits suicide.  Jackson goes outside and calls out to Debutante to come get him.  He shoots her and as another Zombie comes for him Talbot shoots it.  Jackson points his gun at Talbot and accuses him of leaving him to die.  Jackson admits to Talbot that he kissed Sarah and he loves her.  Talbot tells Jackson they are no longer friends and after killing a Zombie, Jackson tells Talbot that Jeffrey is dead.  Raccoon Zombie starts to grab at Elsa and Sarah goes outside to attack it.  Talbot and Jackson arrive and chase after it after shooting at it and corner it and kill it.  Sarah runs over to them to help them and they reveal to her that both of them were bitten.  Talbot and Jackson ask Sarah to kill them and she does after Jackson tells her, he loves her and Talbot tells her the same and regrets not showing it like he should have.  Sarah gives Elsa the keys and then leaves with her to the airport.

Detailed Synopsis

Melissa (SNZN)|Melissa taps on Sarah Talbot's car window and sees she is crying and asks her if she is okay. Suddenly Melissa is grabbed by a Zombie (SNZN)|Zombie and bitten. Frank Talbot and Nash Jackson park their patrol vehicle and Jackson tells Talbot, he put in to transfer to another precinct. Henry Glendon approaches them in his wheelchair and tells then he was bitten. Sarah uses a baseball bat from her car to kill the zombie attacking Sarah. Henry tells them his neighbor Virginia bit him, Frank and Talbot and Jackson go to the neighbor's house. They are charged by Virginia, who bites Jackson in the foot. Talbot then shoots Virginia. Raccoon goes to talk with a Used Car Lot Zombie|customer and is bitten. Used Car Lot Employee runs outside to help Raccoon and is chased by another Zombie while Raccoon changes into one. The power goes out and Talbot tells Sarah people are getting slaughtered outside and he is having a hard time not trying to help. Sarah convinces Talbot to not go outside and they have sex. The next day more Zombies roam the streets including Santa Zombie and Photographer Zombie. Talbot shoots Santa Zombie in the head and then assesses Jackson's food supply. He goes to the front door and Raccoon Zombie is waiting for him and screams. Talbot heads back and in Jackson's room, Sarah tells him she didn't sleep with Jackson. He recalls when he knew he loved her during their third date when they went to a Mozart concert under the stars. Talbot taps the front door and when no Zombies come to it, he sneaks outside and passes Car Bumping Zombie and stabs him in the head. Jackson wakes up and asks Sarah if he is dying and she tells him how they took care of him. Talbot runs inside and tells them he has an idea. He explains that the slow Zombies move at night and use scent to find prey. Talbot sprays himself with scent masking spray and goes back outside to test his theory. He then uses a bat to beat a group of Zombies to a pulp. He continues to walk around and comes across a Zombified Husband with a Gun and shoots and kills it. He goes inside of a house when he sees the Christmas lights come on. Jackson and Sarah get drunk while Talbot finds Jeffrey Hannigan hiding in the attic of the house with the Christmas lights. Sarah and Jackson play a game, What I would kill for right now and during the game, Jackson tells Sarah, he would kill for a kiss from her. Jeffrey tells Talbot about his son Hudson who hit his head, but won't show Talbot, Hudson. Jackson and Sarah kiss, but are interrupted by fast Zombies screaming. Talbot leaves the basement and sees a Zombie which runs away and he shoots it. Jackson goes outside and kills a Zombie which whines as he hacks at it. Zombified Racoon communicates with Box-Mart and another Zombie and they run away. Jackson goes into Jeffrey's house while Talbot is outside and Talbot, thinking he is a Zombie, shoots him in the head. Talbot goes home and gives Sarah a knife to cauterize a wound on his stomach. The next morning, Talbot tells Sarah he accidentally killed Jackson. Jackson wakes up with a bandage on his head in the attic with Jeffrey and notices a foul smell. A Hummer drives drives down the street and Sarah flags it down. Paul Irwin, Elsa Lansing, and Lookout get out of the vehicle. Paul and Elsa go into Jackson's house and Elsa looks at Talbot's wound. Talbot asks Paul if he knows what caused the Zombie apocalypse, but Paul has no clue. Elsa tells them that the Zombie were dissected and the fast ones have something inside of them which wraps around the brain stem. Paul tells them that they have to go to Burbank Airport and Elsa tells them there are still a few thousand people left locally. Talbot tells them about Jeffrey and they leave and tell Talbot and Sarah they will pick them up after they get Jeffrey. Paul gives directions to Driver/Misc. Zombies|the driver and they stop at Jeffrey's house. Jackson hears Paul and his group struggling against the Zombies and goes to help them. He sees Paul being eaten by Zombies and shoots at the Zombies. Talbot sees Elsa and saves her and Jackson finds Lookout and Driver dead. Jeffrey goes to help Jackson and is charged by Box-Mart. Talbot handcuffs Elsa to the bars on the window and tells her if she is still human when he returns he will let her go. Jackson finds Jeffrey still alive, but bitten in the face by the now dead Box-Mart. Jeffrey reveals he shot Hudson when he changed into a Zombie. He then commits suicide. Jackson goes outside and calls out to Debutante to come get him. He shoots her and as another Zombie comes for him Talbot shoots it. Jackson points his gun at Talbot and accuses him of leaving him to die. Jackson admits to Talbot that he kissed Sarah and he loves her. Talbot tells Jackson they are no longer friends and after killing a Zombie, Jackson tells Talbot that Jeffrey is dead. Raccoon Zombie starts to grab at Elsa and Sarah goes outside to attack it. Talbot and Jackson arrive and chase after it after shooting at it and corner it and kill it. Sarah runs over to them to help them and they reveal to her that both of them were bitten. Talbot and Jackson ask Sarah to kill them and she does after Jackson tells her, he loves her and Talbot tells her the same and regrets not showing it like he should have. Sarah gives Elsa the keys and then leaves with her to the airport.
