Marla is the dispatcher for the Sheriff's department in Snomonton, Colorado.
During the events of Jack Frost (1997) played by Marsha Clark
When Sam walks into the sheriff's office, Marla hands him a note telling him someone died. After Deputy Foster asks her out on a date, Marla sprays him with her can of hair spray. Marla helps trap Jack Frost in the sheriff's office in an attempt to blow him up and also helps trap him in the boiler when the first attempt of killing him fails.
