Background

Riki-Oh is 21 years old, blood type AB. He was sentenced to serve 10 years for manslaughter and assault. Riki was shot five times and he left the bullets still in him as he wanted souvenirs. He was an orphan didn't do well in primary or high school. He attended music school to learn to play the flute but disappeared for two years before resurfacing to fight triad members. He was taught chi kung by his uncle.

During the events of Riki-Oh The Story of Ricky (1991) played by Siu-Wong Fan

Riki is transported to the private prison called Estabelecimento Prisional Masculino. He is processed into the prison along with Edward Lee and John Lazon. As Samuel is walking away after beating up Omar in the wash room, Riki trips him. Samuel lands face first onto an upturned nail. Riki is attacked by Zorro in the showers when Samuel bribes Zorro to kill Riki. Riki kills Zorro and also Samuel when Samuel attacks Riki with a large nail. The leader of the north cell, Oscar introduces himself to Riki and tells Riki he will be sent to the Assistant Warden to be punished. Riki is introduced to the Assistant Warden who demands to know what Riki was doing the two years he disappeared. When Riki doesn’t tell him the Assistant Warden angrily shows Riki a letter that was sent to Riki which included a picture of Riki’s girlfriend Anne. When Riki goes to grab the picture the Assistant Warden punctures Riki’s hand with one of his claws. The Assistant Warden begins to beat Riki and crushes the picture of his girlfriend which causes Riki to go on a rage and destroy the Assistant Warden’s desk. The Assistant Warden attempts to shoot Riki, but he blocks the bullet with a silver platter and then punches at the Assistant Warden’s head but stopping in front of it by mere centimeters. Riki then walks away after telling the Assistant Warden to stay out of his business as the Assistant Warden’s nose suddenly bleeds. In the prison yard, Riki is attacked by Oscar who is using a crucified Andrew as bait. Riki uses his powers to overcome his injuries when Oscar slashes Riki's forearm and throws glass into his eyes. Riki then kills Oscar by punching Oscar in the head after Oscar tries to strangle Riki with Oscar's own intestines. Riki sees Oscar's godson Alan trying to use a leaf as a harmonica and offers Alan his flute. Alan takes the flute and gives Riki the leaves he was using which happen to be poppy leaves. Alan then tells Riki where the leaves came from and Riki sets the poppy field on fire. Riki is attacked by Rogan, Brandon and Tarzan in the prison yard but they are all forced to run away when the Assistant Warden initiates the Zero Alarm. Riki is trapped in a cell and cement poured on top of him and Tarzan however Riki breaks out of the cell and drags Tarzan out also. The Warden arrives and Riki is tied up in a cell still covered in cement. The Warden introduces himself to Riki who then attacks the Warden and Tarzan attacks Riki. The cell ceiling begins to slowly move to the floor. Tarzan holds up the cell ceiling from crushing Riki and is then crushed by the ceiling. The Warden orders Riki buried in the prison yard for a week. After a week Riki is pulled out and put into solitary confinement. A prisoner named Freddie gives Riki food and tells him to keep his spirits up. After the Assistant Warden drags a dying Freddie to Riki's cell, Riki breaks free killing Samuel's goon by punching half of his head off on his way out. The Assistant Warden, know missing his other eye from Riki knocking it out is dragged to the other prisoners where he loses an arm to a prisoner with a pick axe. Riki forces the Assistant Warden to take him to the Warden who is in the kitchen. The prisoners use the Assistant Warden as a shield and he is killed by the Warden. Riki fights Rogan and breaks both of his legs and his arm, while Brandon is killed by the Warden for running away. Riki fights a now transformed Warden and shoves him into the meat grinder, killing the Warden. He then takes the Warden's head and shows it to the prisoners and guards before punching a hole in the prison outer wall. Riki tells the prisoners they are all free and they yell in triumph as Riki walks away.
