The Assistant Warden
Background
The Assistant Warden is the assistant warden of the private prison called Estabelecimento Prisional Masculino. His office cabinets are full of pornographic tapes. He arranged the assassination of a prisoner he thought was a secret agent spying on the prison.
During the events of Riki-Oh The Story of Ricky (1991) played by Mei Sheng Fan
The Assistant Warden has Riki-Oh brought to his office where he questions Riki on where he had been during the two years Riki disappeared. Riki refuses to answer and in anger the Assistant Warden pulls out a picture and letter of Anne which had arrived that day. Riki grabs for the picture and the Assistant Warden shoves his claw into Riki's hand and then beats Riki while also crumbling Anne's picture. Riki becomes enraged and destroys the Assistant Warden's desk. The Assistant Warden shoots at Riki however Riki blocks the bullet with a platter and then punches towards the Assistant Warden, stopping short of his nose. Riki then walks off and tells the Assistant Warden to stay out of his business as the Assistant Warden's nose starts to bleed. After Andrew is injured by Oscar, the Assistant Warden decides to use him as bait against Riki. After Riki kills Oscar the Assistant Warden introduces Riki to the remaining three members of the Gang of Four. When he is told the Warden is on his way back from his trip, the Assistant Warden initiates the Zero Alarm which sets guns to fire at any prisoner outside their cell. The Assistant Warden tells the Warden about the death of some of the prisoners and the destruction of the poppy field. The Assistant Warden helps supervise the burying of Riki in the prison yard and then his removal from the pit. When finds out Freddie fed Riki in solitary confinement, the Assistant Warden drags Freddie by the mouth to Riki's cell and taunts Riki. Riki breaks free from his cell and knocks out the Assistant Warden's only remaining eye and a riot erupts. The Assistant Warden has a broken bottle shoved into his throat and his arm removed by a prisoner. The prisoners then take the Assistant Warden to the Warden. The prisoners attempt to use the Assistant Warden as a shield, however the Warden shoots the Assistant Warden with a explosive bullet and the Assistant Warden inflates like a balloon and explodes.
