Background

Vladimir Rostoff, code name Moses ID #14735BFC,is an agent for the FIRM assigned to the Soviet Union and has been an agent for 22 years. He is married to Natalya and has a daughter named Tanya Rostoff. Vladimir's brother in law is Ivan Turgyev. He has worked behind the scenes to stop dozens of conflicts from breaking out. On his first mission, Vladimir saved Michael Coldsmith Briggs III's life. Vladimir is 6'2", 170 pounds with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and was born in Pennsylvania to Russian parents.

In a research building in Sverdlovsk, Russia, Vladimir walks into a room as a Technician tests out a biological weapon on a monkey. Vladimir opens a vial of the agent after putting on a protective mask, exposing the researchers and Technician to the agent, who quickly die. Vladimir then leaves after taking another vial. He contacts the FIRM and asks for an extraction from the USSR and waits to be picked up at a cabin in the Ural Mountains. He is picked up by Stringfellow Hawke and Dominic and he tells Hawke that they need to go to Kirivitz to pick up his family and the vial with the biological weapon. They arrive in Kirivitz and as Vladimir is about to go inside, Hawke makes him stop and Dominic looks inside and sees Ivan with 1st Russian Soldier and another soldier. Vladimir is about to go inside when Hawke pulls out a gun and stops him. They wait until the morning and then Vladimir tells his family and Ivan that he is a spy and they must leave. Before they can leave, a Soviet helicopter starts shooting at the house and they are forced to hide inside. Hawke leaves to get Airwolf and then comes back and rescues Vladimir and his family. As he is leaving, Vladimir waves at Ivan. They arrive at Hawke's cabin and have dinner with Hawke, Dominic, Michael and Marella.
