Detailed Synopsis
Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore are standing in the Ministry directly after Dumbledore's battle with Voldemort. Back in London, a large storm brews. A group of Death Eaters attack targeted areas of Diagon Alley including Ollivander's shop where Fenrir Greyback drags out Mr Ollivander and takes him captive. The Death Eaters then attack parts of London and cause the collapse of the Millennium Bridge. Harry is reading the Daily Prophet when a Waitress walks up and sees the paper and asks him who Harry Potter is. Harry asks her if she would like to go out with him and she tells him what time her shift ends. He thinks he sees something and looks out the cafe window and Dumbledore appears outside across the subway tracks. Harry walks over to Dumbledore and sees one of Dumbledore's hands has started to turn black. Harry looks across and sees the Waitress leaving work and looking for him, but Dumbledore forces him to come with him. They Apparate to Budleigh Babberton and go inside a nearby house. They find the house in disarray and Professor Horace Slughorn disguised as an armchair. Dumbledore introduces Harry to Slughorn and Slughorn tells them that the Death Eaters have been trying to recruit him and so he has been constantly moving from home to home. Slughorn shows Harry a photo he has of his former students, including one with Lily Potter. Slughorn shows him the other photos of his collected star pupils. Slughorn agrees to become a teacher at Hogwarts. Dumbledore tells Harry that he won't be returning home and Dumbledore Apparates Harry to the Weasley home. Ginny Weasley sees Hedwig in the living room and asks Mrs Weasley when Harry arrived. Ron Weasley overhears them as does Hermione Granger and Harry walks through the front door. They all hug him and alter Ron and Hermione tell Harry that they didn't know if they were going back to Hogwarts due to how dangerous it has become.
