Detailed Synopsis

A shaman dances to music as the shaman applies a paste onto Mr. Scott. Madi asks Udo where John Silver is and then goes to find him. She finds Silver and starts to criticizing him for not attending the ceremony when she notices his inflamed leg wound. Silver tells her that he has a fever and it will pass. As Captain Flint's crew and the Maroons are working together on The Walrus, Dobbs starts yelling at a Maroon when a piece of the mast almost falls on a crew member. Flint asks what is the matter and Dobbs tells him that the Maroon's lashing came undone even though he just showed him how to do it. Flint tells Dobbs that he instructed the Maroon wrong on how to tie the lashing and reminds him that they have to make the Maroons feel like they need Flint's crew. Billy Bones asks Flint how he thinks the agreement between themselves and the Maroons will work and Flint realizes that Billy doesn't believe Flint will be able to accomplish what he promised the Maroons. An island is spotted and De Groot hands Flint a spyglass and he looks out at Ocracoke Island. Netta tells Blackbeard that when Blackbeard was still pirating she used her relationship with Blackbeard to get paid more money as a prostitute, but when he stopped being a pirate, her business faded. She asks him what Captain Charles Vane is doing back with him. Blackbeard tells Netta that a piece of shrapnel from a Spanish cannon ball is slowly making his through towards his heart.Flint and his crew land on the beach and are greeted by Blackbeard. Mrs. Hudson tells Eleanor Guthrie how she started to feel guilty for spying on Woodes Rogers and declined to work for the Spanish anymore. Shortly after, she came home one night to find Grandal in her children's bedroom. He then told her that her children would either receive money, or a knife. Lieutenant Perkins tells Rogers that the ship with the Spanish gold is ready to leave for Havana. Eleanor tells Rogers that now that the Spanish know that their gold has been converted into something easier to hide, they feel insulted. She suggests they fight the Spanish, but he tells her that their only chance is for them to find Rackham and Anne Bonny to get the rest of the value of the gold back. As Rackham is walking, he sees a wagon full of wood and asks Ex-Pirate 1 where it is going. Ex-Pirate 1 tells him it is going to the fort to fix it. Idelle helps Featherstone get dressed. Featherstone sees Rackham and wonders why he is back at Nassau. Rackham tells him that he is annoyed to see how easily Rogers has made everything work. The Pardon Clerk calls for the next in line and when Rackham gives tells him his name, he is surrounded by soldiers and told Rogers would like to speak with him. Madi tells Udo to wait while she gets Fremah and Silver tells her that he can't look weak in front of his men or her men. Madi tells him she understands what he is going through and the crown is always a burden, but cannot be worn if he cannot stand. Flint tells Blackbeard what has happened to his crew lately and then tells Blackbeard that he plans to reclaim Nassau. Blackbeard reminds Flint of how he came to Nassau and told them that their ways were wrong. He then tells Flint that as long as he controls the pirate fleet, Nassau will remain in the past. Flint says that the captains of the fleet made oaths to him not Blackbeard and Flint asks Vane to stick to their agreement. Vane tells Flint that Nassau doesn't deserve anymore from him and Blackbeard challenges Flint to fight with pistols and then swords over who shall claim the fleet. Rackham is brought to Rogers' office and tells Rogers that he read his book. Rogers tells Rackham that he needs him to return all of the gold he took or they are all dead. Rogers tells Rackham that Spain knows about the gold being exchanged for other items. Rackham tells Rogers of how he remembers as a boy the way men spoke of Henry Avery and wanted people to speak of his name in the same manner. Rogers tells Eleanor that Rackham agreed to have the gold returned and Rackham has written a letter to be delivered to Anne by Lieutenant Hersey. Eleanor warns Rogers that Anne is dangerous, but Rogers assures her that Hersey is capable. Max
